Un dels pocs llocs del barri amb bones tapes tradicionals i algunes de més originals. Hi ha bones propostes a la carta de suggeriments, tot i que penso que haurien de posar-hi el preu. Les postres són molt bones (7€ porció).

El raco de la tapa, nestled in the vibrant Sant Martí district of Barcelona, is a gem for lovers of authentic Spanish bar and grill cuisine. This unpretentious spot on Carrer del Concili de Trento offers a rich tapestry of traditional and innovative tapas that reveal the heart of Catalan gastronomy.

Among the standout dishes, the torreznos arrive perfectly crispy and flavorful, embodying the satisfying crunch that makes Spanish pork belly such a beloved treat. The patates braves here are more than a side—they are a bold, spicy celebration of the classic, perfectly paired with the house vermut Fot'li. From the fresh tartar de atún to the tender rabo de toro, the menu balances textures and tastes with confident mastery.

The selection of cold cuts like cecina and jamón showcases expert curing, delivering rich, smoky notes that linger. Among the more surprising delights are the banderilles and the fried fingers de pollastre that bring crispy comfort with every bite. The mandonguilles amb salsa de formatge offers a creamy, hearty twist on meatballs that resonates with warmth and depth.

What truly elevates El raco de la tapa is the combination of generous portions and fair pricing, creating a welcoming atmosphere where locals return time after time. Their dessert offerings, such as the dense and creamy tarta de queso, provide a perfect finish to the robust flavors explored during the meal.

Customer favorites reflect the consistent quality here—calamari that is tender, croquettes that range from classic ham to surprising variations, and a wine list that enhances the experience with carefully curated labels. The terrace adds an airy dimension to the visit, inviting patrons to linger and savor the leisurely pace of Spanish dining culture.

In sum, El raco de la tapa is more than a bar and grill; it is an immersive encounter with traditional tapas done with passion and skill. Whether you seek the familiar comforts of patatas bravas and morcilla or crave the novelty of cargols a la llauna, this place serves with heart and authenticity. For anyone eager to explore Barcelona’s tapas scene beyond the tourist trail, it’s a destination worth savoring.
